The leader of the team did adopt him and named him Arthur and managed to bring him back to Sweden with him.

Apparently he slowed them down several times when he got stuck in mud or wouldn't stop jumping into the ocean after fish haha

Sadly Arthur passed away near the beginning of December 2020 (he was roughly 13 years old)
