There are several castles in Germany, so it would be helpful if the title stated which one...
.
So, I did a quick reverse image search, and it show that this might be Marienburg Castle(Schloss Marienburg bei Hannover) a Gothic revival castle in Lower Saxony, Germany
So I was curious how many castles Germany has, and apparently the exact numbers are unknown. But it's estimated that there are around 25,000.
Statistically there's 1 castle per 14.3kmĀ² (5.5 square miles)
:( not gonna lie, kinda jealous. Here in the states that I'm aware of, we have ONE building that can legitimately be called a castle.
Hammond Castle in Gloucester MA, built by John Hays Hammond Jr. Consitered to be the father of radio control, the castle served as his home and labratory.

While the US never had any royalty, they do however have a plethora of wealthy people who built castles as lavish homes around the country, some of which are now open for visits as museums and such

And here I am thinking the US ran short on eccentric wealthy industrialists.
