As near as I can tell, a group of reddit users didn't like a mod, so they doxxed and cancelled her. Her father turned out to be a convicted sexual predator, and apparently that's close enough for reddit to flood the internet with memes about how great they are for getting a "pedo."

i've only heard if from second hand gossip, apparently her father tortured and raped a 10 year old girl. Biggest question is this reddit mod was living in the same house at the time.

Aimee “Knight's recruitment of her father, despite her knowledge of the charges for 22 sexual offences, led to an investigation and Knight's suspension from the Green Party. She later resigned and joined the Liberal Democrats, but was suspended in 2019 over paedophilic tweets apparently posted by her partner.” Overall she maintains some questionable relationships, and when people on Reddit were posting info about her past it was being censored. A bunch of Reddit mods changed their subs to private as protest to Reddit staying silent about removing content that didn’t violate any terms but portrayed this individual negatively. Reddit eventually responded by firing her.

Personally if I had a family member who literally raped and tortured children, I wouldn’t speak to them let alone give them a job.
