How are you going to convince someone to taste test cat food if it tastes like rat?

Who taste test catfood? I would think its cats, right?So, how do people know cats enjoy one food more than another?

I know they test dog food on humans (they do actually check for taste), I'm sure someone gets paid to eat cat food too.

Quit simply, pet food isn’t sold to pets. It’s sold to humans and humans feel good about buying chicken, beef, salmon –not rodent–meat for their pets. It’s all about target audience.
