Also remember that legitimate criticism of your country shouldn't be discouraged. That's how you make changes and progress.

I'd add that if you can't find anything negative about your own country, it can be a sign that you need some healthy distanciation, and you haven't looked hard enough.

I realise I forgot to give context for this post: it's a still of a video of a few Muslims reacting to hatred comments directed towards them as a generic group.
