This is the sign of an uneducated mind. it's been proven that if the death penalty is used for rapist they will kill their victims to cover up their crimes (as proven by countries with death penalty for rape victims having way higher instances of rape with murder), b/c they have nothing to lose. So technically if you support the death penalty for rapists you are actually supporting murdering the victims.

This very phenomenon applies to ALL death penalties and is one of the main arguments against death penalty in general.

I’m not in favor of the death penalty but I find this to be a weak argument. Also how can this apply to all death penalties? A murderer will murder to cover up a murder so he won’t be murdered?
