I don’t believe that there’s a country that drinks more tea than China

They might win when it comes to the amount actually brewed, the list above is the weight of tea leafs. Traditional Chinese tea drinkers infuse the leafs many a times. Still today lot of workers carry a regular twist-off glass jar (there are more expensive jars availabhle with a screen built in) in which they infuse a spoon full of green tea in the morning and just add hot water when it's down to about 1/5 or 1/6 of the jar. In many places there are huge thermos jugs of hot water for free refills. So easily they drink a liter of tea or more from a spoon-full of tea.
I looked the chart up USA is 35 I seriously think its the south holding that at least to 35 lol
I worked at a fast food place in my home town as a teen. We would make tea 6 to 8 times a day on game night it was 10. That was in Texas. Here in California my husband worked for a restaurant for 6 moths and NOT 1 TIME did anyone ask for tea. It was always soda or water. One time some asked for a lemon aid and my husband had to call the boss off break to find out how to make it.
Well, let's see if I can pump those numbers up...
