Same, and since I'm not into being tracked my computer thought I was living in Paris so it was even more useless. It can be deactivated though so there's that.

Its so annoying like it activates when you hover your mouse over it, even just a little.

Something explodes. Just kidding, it only gives options for the taskbar, but nothing to get rid of the weather thing.

Ok, then can you try right-clicking a space in the taskbar? You should be able to select "News and interests" (yeah I looked up the name) then click "Turn off".
