What depresses me is when I was younger gaslighting was just a term for certain pranks. Like I had a friend whose parents never locked their doors so I would go in and slightly move all of their furniture until the divots showed in the carpet, or if there was food we had to throw out at my house I would put it in their fridge, stuff like that

Wow. You seem like you have never been in a toxic environment. It is very fucking real. Way to dismiss shit and also great word for women.

Imagine dismissing a widely recognized abusive tactic as a hysterics maneuver...

Imagine being so thin skinned you erase a comment that got downvoted.

No, but I just thought that the way I presented my comment is wrong and could be hurtful to some. I don't say gaslighting is not real, I am saying it is wrongly used by some. Believe it or not, people ("bitches" is the word I used) often blame others for their act (whether it is akin to hysteria or not). Seeing this post reminded me of someone and without thinking, I posted a reply without even thinking. So of course, I feel bad.

@jd1984_1 and @diminuendo are also remaking John Lennon's "Imagine".

I don't think so. The meter's off for that lol. But thank you for clarifying your original intent.

I agree with @cakelover and @diminuendo, clarifying a post is good. Out right erasing it just looks wrong though. Kudos though @omar1992.
