Last I heard Australia already had concentration camps people can pay for the privilege of staying in. Supposedly it's better than being unlawfully imprisoned in a single room, as is the alternative.
@famousone uhm can we NOT call them concentration camps please? That's very inconsiderate. Have you looked at how people will be accomodated? And have you looked at real concentration camp pictures? They're incomparable and doing so really invalidates the unspeakable horrors that happened there. Those quarantine camps are a substitute for HOTELS. Please and thank you.

They're a substitute for being locked in a single room for days and weeks on end with no human contact outside of some faceless mook poking your insides with a stick and sometimes hearing others having nervous breakdowns and panic attacks through the walls. No trial. No due process.
The rooms look pretty fuckin' banger and good ventilation is important when fighting covid, not all homes have that so these places that are properly constructed and stuff can help. You say the boot fits but "harsh conditions" are not what I see in those images. If this helps us fight against covid faster, that's chill with me.
