It applies to anyone, of course!
With men the example that first comes to mind is circumcision. Which is absolutely a violation of bodily autonomy and shouldn't be done.
One argument for circumcision I've heard are the supposed medical benefits, but turns out that in countries with fair access to water and therefore good hygienic standards, even the medical argument becomes utterly void. At the end of the day it's just a religious practice that crept up into the mainstream.
Or are there any other examples of interference with men's bodily autonomy you had in mind?
Not men's in particular. Just people's bodies in general. Getting to decide what gets into them or is done with them without any coercion, force, or bribes.
Or lies.
My body, my choice.
What's weird is that many of the same people chiming in that "Of COURSE bodily autonomy would be unquestioned" are the same ones supporting a vaccine mandate. Because, see, that's for "everyone's good."
I'm I was wondering how long it would take for someone to catch on to the meat of the issue
.
Also ewqua out here implying men can't get pregnant. For shame.
Did I? Pretty sure I only said circumcision is the example that comes to mind, because in terms of men's bodily autonomy it's, to my knowledge at least, the most talked about issue. More than pregnancy anyway, lol.
Oh and yes bodily autonomy also applies to vaccines.
Oh? Okay, then how about:
.
Ewqua out here implying circumcision is a MAN'S issue. Repeatedly. And as if women don't get circumcised too.
.
For shame :P
.
And yes, I can't imagine why pregnancy isn't talked about as a MAN'S issue. It really is a mystery for the ages (but not for the clinically insane)
That's... That's not really correct to what I wrote either lol. But I see what you're doing. Something something did you just assume my gender? (Idk I just woke up after a few hours long intense D&D session so my ability to make jokes and sassy comebacks is still rebooting right now :D)
@memesgobrrr Well it's banned by the UN and also a bunch of non-UN countries so no wonder you don't know it's a thing. But it still happens, especially in Africa.
Don't call it circumcision. It's cunt butchery, plain and simple. Genital mutilation if you must be clinical.
The UN ain't shit. The only solution is to accept that some cultures and practices are barbaric, and can only be killed with blood and fire. Stern words have been tried and did nothing. Or worse.
UN sees 2 countries starving and fighting a war and writes them a stern letter lmao, they dont do jackshit

also who tf is downvoting this entire thread
Female genital mutilation is also done for entirely different reasons and is often far more in line with castration than circumcision
.
And Not the entire thread lol. This is one of those topics where people from both sides are watching and downvoting away.

There's also people that just downvote everything famous and I say
