This would piss off my husband so much lol He's really weird about organizing the eggs in the fridge. They have to be organized as symmetrically as possible, but he always does it differently...I don't even know how to explain it. It's psychotic lol but also kinda cute

No you have to arrange them based on when they were laid or they’ll go bad at random

While I appreciate this, the vast majority will be getting the eggs from the store and have no idea when they are laid.

The eggs at the store were laid at the same time. This is how eggs work

Well yeah, most of the time. I'm sure some dozens have eggs from two different days, but it shouldn't vary as widely as a person with chickens collecting a few eggs a day.
