Yeah, the shirtless aspect is kinda weird, like he's tying to emulate a mother-child picture or something, but I don't think it's worth calling it creepy.

It's skin-to-skin contact. Unless it's shirtless, is he supposed to use his lower leg?

It more the fact that he posted to photo that's a little weird, there nothing wrong with holding your baby generally, shirtless or not.

Skin-to-skin contact helps babies regulate their breathing and temperature, ideally straight after birth this would be with the mum but when that's not possible for whatever reason the dad is a great alternative.

Damn, I hope this works. My generation only saw our dads on the weekends and we've been chasing that connection with our fathers ever since.

I held my daughter on my bare chest from her birth. Now about 3 years later she yells at me and only wants mommy :(
