“I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then, my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. Absolutely everything was the same…except I could fly.”

Dwight: Second Life is not a game. It is a multi-user, virtual environment. It doesn't have points or scores. It doesn't have winners or losers.
Jim: Oh, it has losers.
Yeah, that last line... guns are actually pretty easy to get in states that still respect the rights granted by the second amendment. The same states that aren't "nanny states."
Wow, they hate everything you say no matter what it is. Sorry guy. I'm in NY. Productive member of society, no criminal record and I'm able to buy here. Takes time though , and paperwork. Not happy about new registrations though.
When we started out playing the real one we didn't know how our decisions would affect other things. Plus it would be cool to see how life would be if we made different decisions
Cool concept, but bad idea. People need to live their own lives. We waste enough time in virtual worlds already, we don't need more distractions from real life.
Never said I'm perfect. :P
But there is a big difference between taking a few minutes to get some laughs and spending hours and hours living a second life that isn't real. I think it's psychologically dangerous to literally live a second life in a fake world. The real world is the one that needs help -- all the time we waste in a virtual one is robbing God and our fellow human beings of the contribution we should be making to the real world.
