excuse me nzlkvuza, but why use the word "gay" in this sentence? Are you simply pointing out a fact (thats the only way to use it) or are you using it in a degrading manner?

Being gay isn't bad, it shouldn't be used as an insult because there's nothing wrong with being gay.

norwegiangirl and rena0164, i think nzlkvuza was trying to say that people downvoted because of the boyband stereotypes associated with One Direction, i don't think she was calling them gay.

Okay, I see. I still dont understand why he/she had to use the word gay in order to make his poin, well well.. But why do i get downvoted for saying that calling someone gay as an insult is wrong?

Because unfortunately on the internet your comment doesn't appear to be an anti gay slander advocate but more like a pretentious annoying person who missed the point

i really dont understand why people get so annoyed by people who doesn't get the point, and worse - gets mad when someone asks for someone to explain (not in this case, but in general. I've seen this a bunch on funsubstance). Herregud..

norwegiangirl , I just wanted to say that people hate on 1D because somesay the that they are gays and all. I don't care if actually they are gay or not , we can love who we want . I didn't insult them , it's just what people usually say about them. You know , I love 1d , I wasn't trying to be rude or mean :)

And then this post becomes all about Harry Styles (or 1D)...
