*Loses. Also, that is due to there being larger interest in men's sports than women's sports - nothing at all to do with the very real problem of sexism.
Because men have bodies that are designed to do more physical activity than women, Iif I watch male sports games over female games (as a woman) it isn't because I don't believe men and women are equal

@guest n°2 The term you are looking for is sexual dimorphism.

The fact that it generlises all men is wrong but hay what else are you gonna put it. All very fair points that I as a male was very unaware of. Really big eyeopener
It's not necessarily saying that ALL men do that but it is saying that some. It's just like every other stereotype. It's simply putting everyone in a group to make a better point
No I just said it's not saying all of them, I said that people often stereotype things because it is easier saying something like 'Something is something' rather than 'Something that is ....(long list of things) is something'.
Then people that can't be even a little specific should keep their mouth shut. Not you. But it's not hard to say "girls that sleep with a lot of guys are sluts" instead of "girls can be such sluts" Or "guys that use women are dicks" instead of "guys are such dicks."
I think mrrsparklez is making some valid points here. Men are just as sick of generalizations as women are. True, women have been and many still are disadvantaged, but times are changing, and with the changing times, men are changing too. You can't expect results overnight. It took years for slavery to be abolished and racism still exists, so its up to us to educate the younger generations. Instead of bitching about how women aren't given equality on the internet, how about doing something about it. I'm a guy and my family runs a community centre for underprivilaged children and we ensure that we teach them proper values and morals, including respecting other races and genders. We can already see a change in their outlook on life. If more people actually did something to make a difference, the world would be better.

All of you make extremely good points... now all we need is mgoveia to enlighten us on either how smart or stupid we're being, he's/she's really good at that
I'm just wondering, what would you do if a guy touched you in an area no one should be touched at in middle school as a joke? I need serious advice, like I don't know what to do.

Tell someone, he says it's a joke but it's not, trust me...
I'm a guy and I'd advise you slap the shit out of him. U might get in trouble but it will label him for the coward he is

I'd give a stern last warning. Say: "If you touch me again I will fuck up your life. I will report you to the police and press for sexual harrasment charges, BITCH"
If he touches you again keep your promise.
I say warn because he might be a 'victim' if peer presure, but if he has any decency or sense he will never touch you again and will most likely look away in submissive fear when you cross paths :)
Remember: everyone deserves a second chance, a change to learn a leçon and change their ways.
Good luck:)
So a guy touches a girl inappropriately, you kick the shit out of him, insult him, and generally ruin his day. Yet a girl touches a guy, if he says he doesn't like it, he's a gay faggot, generally ruining his day. As the guy in this story, (just the second one) and straight at that, people need to realize that every gender has it's problems, not just women. Women have bigger problems, but that's no excuse. Men can be raped to you know.
...These posts are really dissapointing me as a human being in general.... In both genders... I don't see equality... All I see is fighting and accusations and generalizations...
"Rape is one of the most terrible crimes on earth and it happens every few minutes. The problem with groups who deal with rape is that they try to educate women about how to defend themselves. What really needs to be done is teaching men not to rape. Go to the source and start there."

Teaching men not to rape? How about people. Its not just men that rape
Not that I'm against it, but I would prefer if you spread them out a bit. It gets a bit "naggy", if you know? I know that this is a very important issue, but

I'm sure people will be understanding at what you mean.
Feminists may have valid points, but until they find a way to get them across without sounding like they're ignoring or discounting all the progress and effort that men have made to change for the better, people will be angry at them. I won't deny that there are some scumbag guys out there, but to the majority who are aware of the inequalities and do what they can in their everyday lives to balance them and be conscientious, feminism can feel like a slap in the face. It's like an alcoholic who has gone to AA meetings, is following a 12-Step program, is meeting with an addictions counselor, has asked friends and his bartender to watch him and keep him on track, limited his access to alcohol, identified why he drinks and found a safe substitute for that, and is finally down to a safe amount and close to his goal of being sober being told by a stranger that "you need to do something about your drinking problem!"

*Sigh* Why couldn't God make us all genderless... I'm sick of all this feminism shit. Whining about your problems and what you want isn't going to solve the problem. I'm sick of my gender. Men are just men. You can't change every single one out there. Also, it's life. Life will never be fair and that's ok. I agree that I don't want to be raped, but all that other stuff is just society. Just deal with it and move on. We can't change everything. And like I said on another post, go ahead and downvote this. I don't care about what you feminists have to say and I have the slight urge to punch people right now
if everyone was a hermaphrodite then you wouldn't have gender problems because everyone would be both. if everyone was neither then how would you reproduce?
At the beginning of life on earth, our ancestors were genderless: they were small sigle-celled organisms. But as life evolved, cell division was not a good way to procratate. Then gender, sexual relations and death appear. Our society would not exist if we were hermaphrodites.
Ok, guys, just thought I'd say: feminism is not saying all guys are dicks, it's not pushing for the downfall of the men, that would be misandry. Feminism is about EQUALITY misandry is about putting guys down just a misogyny is about putting down women. Very real issues that should not be confused for a valid movement, such as feminism. But please don't believe I'm defending the bitchy women that hide behind feminism to bash men, I'm just as annoyed by them as any guy would be (and I'm a chick) I just want to point out the difference between an equality movement and pointless sexism.

I think the word feminism has just got a bad wrap from women AND men who misuse the term. Men and women both set women back not just one gender
this post totally belongs on FUNsubstance. i laughed till i cried at the punchline. dude srsly go on feminism.org instead of here. i completly agree with everything this post says, but it belongs on another website
Teaching to "not rape"? That'a pretty dumb. Every child learns that you have to follow certain rules in a society. I think everyone knows that rape is no good, but there are also people who do not follow rules, which is why acts of this are called crime. If I was thaught not to rape, i would not even listen as I do not intend to ever rape someone. But you should always teach people to protect themself from harm. We close our doors as well when we leave our flat or house, because we know that someone might not respect our rights.
What I don't like about these posts is that they make Every man look bad. And not all these points are true. There are alot of good men out there aswell. Like the the one "You have to tell a boy you have a boyfriend and even Then he won't stop" is not that true. Have you though tabut that the good men are too shy or similar. You can't make a post and refer to all men. Many guys understand the more serious problems and try to do something good against it. Personally I don't like These posts because they make men look bad and honestly I think It's annyoing when girls/boys bitch about it on the wrong internet sites. It's called FUNsubstance, not BITCH-BOUT-MY-OPINIONsubstamce (sound bad but point made). We are improving but things don't happen over a day. World leaders hear you, most people aswell. If you want to do something so bad stop bitching around and stand up for EQUALLITY, not only feminism. Get off your butt and get out and preach for EVERYONE... Not just girls. Please.
To put things in perspective for people: the last people to gain rights in America (in terms of physical traits) were women. The blacks were given the right to vote before women were. That's pretty much why we're still struggling as a society. We'll get it soon. I have hope that we can change. We just need to keep our cool and keep moving forward.
I know a lot of women who chose to cover themselves up for modesty but being FORCED to cover up does happen in Saudi Arabia and these women should be given support
Feminism is about choices so they should have the freedom to choose whether they want to cover up or not. Also just because there are worse issues happening elsewhere doesn't mean we should ignore stuff here.
I think we need consider others first because even though we don't have equality here, if we don't target extreme opression of women (in places like Saudi Arabia) we won't ever achieve equality
Good feminists: Women deserve the rights men have and are not some inferior species.
Bad feminists: Women are oppressed and therefore are superior to men, who are nothing but sexist, horny pigs.
Feminism IS equality
Bitching about how men are dicks and are all out to rape us and steal our jobs and get more money and 'can't hit us because we are girls' is NOT feminism. It's just being a bitch
I think the guest was playing with the term the road to hell is paved with good intentions if y'all feel me. That you know that we are trying so hard to bring everyone together that instead we are driving each other apart and that the guest is upset about it.

@araraxicxarsenic
There are no good feminists anymore. Feminists focus on women's rights, but we need to focus on both genders. We need equalitarians who seek ALL rights to be the same not just the convenient ones.
Examples: same prison sentence for same crime; equal division of property and children in a divorce
If he touches you again keep your promise.
