Title says that "You're not saying they aren't tough. Wait yes that's what you're saying." So you're saying they're NOT TOUGH? after all they went through? Lol I know what you meant but just what I'm hearing haha :)
The player who had his jugular slit actually held the gash closed, got up, and skated himself off the ice. Reason? His mother was in the crowd watching the game and he didn't want her to see him die.
I love how people are focusing on the one who got his testicles speared when there is a guy who got his bloody jugular sliced! A hole in your testicles may hurt like hell and kill your sex life but it won't kill YOU!
I only focused on the testicles because it was the only new one to me. I'd heard of / seen the other ones already. The jugular one was very disturbing to watch. But I'm glad he made it.
I am a basketball player and I will admit some people fake injuries, and some are weak...then come back to play. I know a kid who got out of school bc apparently his knee was too bad...but was at the basketball courts the same day.
The NZ rugby player wayne shelford ripped his scrotum leaving one hanging free and lost four teeth, ran off the rugby field to get stitches, then kept playing!
you idiots realize basketball is a way more physically demanding sport and the cramps are 20 times worse than cramps you get in hockey. If you haven't experienced it then you don't know how bad it hurts when your hamstring physically contorts itself in after you've been running sprinting and jumping for 3 hours straight. Ive played an inning of baseball with a broken clavicle before and it was nothing compared to a cramp i got while playing basketball
not even a guy
