I miss when this was the one place on the Internet where everyone was just into random shit that made ppl laugh and we could escape all of the debating and pretend just for like 1 second the world was a peaceful equal place.
Yesssss.....
But we're aware of sexual orientations. Other animals may or may not, but if they do they don't care, and if they don't then so much the better.
Is murder part of nature? Arbitrary killing of the same species? Is rape too? I know the whale-type animals sometimes gangbang, but there's something floating around in my mind because I may have read or heard something which makes me not want to call it rape or assault right off the bat.
That is not a valid counterpoint because Scott there is equating rape and murder with homosexuality by lumping them into the same category.
By the way, rape and murder don't exist in nature because other specieside do not have nor subscribe to humanities laws. We see certain things and may think "woah, that lion straight up murdered that wildebeast," but the lion doesn't have murderous intent like a human would.
That's apart of the circle of life dude, not exactly murder. Also, it is valid because his point is that we aren't supposed to do what animals do, that's what makes us human and superior

No, being self aware, having complex reasoning skills, and being the dominant species is what makes us human and superior. We are still very much like animals in our behaviours and instincts
I would like to see a source on this, but regardless, that still doesn't seem very important.

I've posted 6 links above, including some from reputable sources such as National Geographic, that support these findings. And it is very important, as it discredits the often used "ITS NOT NATURAL" argument that a lot of homophobes use
I saw the links. The "gay animals will adopt children" thing seems cherry-picked, but it checks out otherwise.
"It's not natural" is a stupid argument anyway, neither are cars or computers. And things like nudity and murder are natural, so what does that have to do with it?

Instincts, it's their instinct. Humans often ignore their instincts, that's why.

The only living things on this planet are plants and animals. Humans are animals. Very smart, apex predators, and the dominant species. But still animals
When animal parents die it's usually because they were weaker. When animal parents disown it's usually because they detected some sort of defect. Either way, it's meant to strengthen the gene-pool. This mechanism is defeated by adoption, and defects and weak genes are allowed to continue.
But we're aware of sexual orientations. Other animals may or may not, but if they do they don't care, and if they don't then so much the better.

Yes, because they are all natural. What's got you confused?

That's not true. There's also fungus and various kingdoms of single celled organisms.
