They have the 5th of november its kind of like the 4th of july as in how they celebrate. Fireworks and barbques lol

We basically celebrate a dude trying and failing to blow up the parliament building, by setting off fireworks at night and getting absolutely fuck all sleep

It's because their country wasn't created by becoming independent of another country. The current English lineage is descent from Anglo raiders from what is now northern Germany moving south and wiping out the Britons.
