It could be poor parenting. It could also be culture or a family tradition. Really though, the picture itself doesn't give anything other than create assumptions and judge the crap out of this kid and his parents.

Seriously? You're going to compare be headings to ears being pierced? I'm still curious as to why ears pierced at a young age is bad parenting to you, like an actual explanation

I still don't see it as poor parenting though. If he decides at a later age that he doesn't want it he doesn't have to wear it. For all we know his parents could have asked him if he wanted them or he could have asked

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, I was simply having a discussion and was curious as to why you thought it was poor parenting. I guess I made the mistake of thinking you could handle having a discussion with someone who has different views than you.
i had my ears pierced as an infant and if i have a girl her ears will be pierced too... i really fail to see what pierced ears have to do with parenting.... or is it because its a boy? is that the rational here? cuz i double boo it if its cuz its a boy.
