You could even get everyone there at the establishment to go too..if I were another customer and knew I'd be happy to attend. Maybe even some employees with a little longer lunch break?

This happened at my restaurant. We gave them free food and a cake. About 10 of the employees gathered to bring the cake out, candles lit, to sing happy birthday to him. His parents were overjoyed.

This sounds like my friends 18th, only two of us showed up. She was disappointed, but my other friend and I managed to cheer her up and have a good time
