actually, it's pulmonary embolism and it does raise questions if we're talking a person under 40 with no known cardiovascular diseases but yea, better than some exotic-ass poison, sure. :D
The air has to get into the blood vessels in order to reach the heart and a little bit of air won’t kill someone, it has to be pretty substantial like st least a 20 cc syringe full of air. The needle has to get into an artery and although it’s not that complicated for certain health care professionals it’s more than a little challenging for someone with no idea of what they are doing. Just sayin!
It takes more than a single syringe full of air to kill someone. You shouldn't rely on movies for your knowledge of the world. This is especially true if you plan on killing people.
