I was in turkey visiting one of the ottoman's palaces, rules were to stay on the carpet, don't cross the ropes, two american girls crossed the ropes onto the damaged flooring to take pics by the windows, when the guards yelled at them to get back, they looked, took more pics, then went back. and they wonder why everyone hated them

That could as well have been germans. We're famous for not accepting any authorities unless they yell at us and we know the language.
