He's doing ok atm. We're just waiting on the hospital to call us if they get a cadaver kidney, but nothing is probably going to happen until January when he and his Dad enter the "donation pool" (it's a country wide pool, what it is is basically if someone else in the country is a better match for my husband than his father and his father is a match for them then their kidney will be donated to my husband and his father's kidney will be donated to the donor who donated their kidney to his son ie my husband) but if there's not a match then then the next pool is 6 months after. He's having regular blood tests to see if his kidney function drops any lower (it's currently at 11%) and if it does he'll have to go on dialysis (probably when it gets down to about 7%).
