To be fair, you can't really see the bottom of your crotch without a mirror or something, so it's not entirely unexpected that some girls wouldn't be particularly knowledgeable about that area.
If you live in a conservative state in the us they simply say: don't do it. They may not directly say god frowns upon it because of law but when all your classmates are talking about the word of god and your teachers are as well it's pretty obvious how they feel.
ahem, went to a Christian private school here. Just would like to respectfully point out we unfortunately got the entire health class experience(From graphs to sex Ed to stds, we covered it all) Also, Christians are. Not. Idiots. Please stop making it seem we are all prude assholes who hate everyone.
Maybe he's not exactly clever but a lot of guys aren't taught about this kind of thing. It's mostly down to ignorance in many cases but there are some guys who don't know simply because they aren't taught. My old friend had a brother who thought this exact same thing and didn't understand tampons or whatever because his school didn't teach the boys about things like these and he'd never had a girlfriend.
When we had sex ed they basically just told us "This is the penis. The penis goes into the vagina". We went over the menstrual period and how a woman gets pregnant. But never went over the internal male reproductive, didn't entirely go over the internal female and didn't mention the fact that we don't pee out of our vaginas. I've met some girls that didn't even know the urethra and vagina are 2 separate openings.

OMG. ..really???? Did they think they could get pregnant through their pee tube????
There's a sales tax on virtually everything, and the tax system is a giant fucking mess. If feminists actually followed the "I basically can't go without it, therefore it shouldn't be taxed" logic (which by the way I totally agree with but feminists are focusing only on themselves, not the whole system) they'd be concerned about toilet paper, toothpaste and other necessary hygiene products. But they're not, cause their movement consists of moaning about totally unimportant minor inconveniences that happen to first world women. And then they have the guts to say "it's about equality, though!" If it was, you'd be concerned about other products as I have mentioned earlier. You can't stop diarrhea more than you can stop menstrual bleeding. Although, feminists can by closing their mouths.
And you can make your periods lighter with birth control. I admit it wasn't a perfect analogy, but my point was that toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other sanitary products are just as important as pads/tampons, yet feminists only complain about the one they can blame on sexism.
You'll still have a period won't you? Diarrhea isn't monthly;
If it is get your colon looked at.
Why is there such conflict about taxes anyway? You're still paying for it, it's not free its like 8% big whoop you get taxed on everything but some food items
As I said, it wasn't a perfect analogy. As I ALSO said, the point isn't whether you have diarrhea every month or not (and sure if you do you should consult a doctor or stop going to Chipotle), the point was the importance of the goods.
I agree. The feminists are making it out to be a huge issue (seriously, women were protesting in the streets because of those fucking 8%), I was just telling one of them how stupid it is.
Yeah, I mean tax on things that are as necessary as tampons or toilet paper probably shouldn't be a thing, but I don't see a reason to make it into such an uproar, especially when feminists are only focusing on the tampon part but there are many other sanitary products this tax applies to as well but they don't focus on those cause they can't cry "sexism!". Also it's just a few percent, who cares, right?
I think the luxury tax is bs.
But taxes in general are kind of a given. I just hope places have it set up to where low income people can get lady products.
Besides, they're honestly very wasteful and we should find a better alternative.
On the other hand, every public bathroom has toilet paper for free so...
The Diva Cup is like 30$ but it's tricky to get used to, it definitely helped me at night I would recommend only if you're familiar with insertion products without a string
Well, I use the nuva ring as birth control, so I am. But I always insert it and take it out in the shower. My biggest pet peeve is having to take out and insert the cup in a public restroom.
You're going to have to do that if you're heavy and are at school/work (I took pocket wet wipes with me because walking out of the stall with bloody hands is suspicious)
But the cup holds 30mL so it really depends on your flow but it significantly cut the amount of times I had to change from once every 2 hours on an ultra tamp to just 4 hours with the Cup
Theres also period pantys. They are on the exspensive side, but they hold x amount of blood. Here

Almost all of the women thought this - and the transgender had to explain it
On a side note, what's OITNB?
I'll try it
But hey, at least there's no tampon tax.
Basically, theres a sales tax on menstrual products.
Some states also have a "luxury tax" and lady products fall into that catogory as well, adding even more to that items cost. But who doesn't find them a necessity?
