The reason doctors prescription notes are written in scribble is to try to stop someone from copying the note to get extra prescriptions or alter it to get different ones.
I call bs on this. More likely its because they learned to write hella fast during medschool (that shit is hardcore).
If you write a perfectly readable fake note ain't nobody gonna say "wait this is too easy to read ! I'm not giving you shit".

Yes. I agree on this one. I had really nice handwriting before I spent six years in college. Now it's a hot mess.
When's the last time anyone actually saw a hand written prescription in real life? It's all computerized these days. They either send the prescription directly to your pharmacy or hand you a computer printed prescription.

If you ask for a handwritten script, they send you away with one.
Most prescriptions are computerised because of the number of people who died because they were given the wrong pills, because the pharmacist couldn't read the handwriting. Working in a hospital, I can confirm this picture is 100% accurate.
