Struggle! I like bread over bun the bread to meat ratio is just right .. fuck a bun it's like a whole loaf ... Ain't nobody got time for that.

That's not sandwich bread. That's everything bread. Hamburger, hot dog, sandwich, toast, rolls, etc.

Slice the hotdog down the center length wise and lay it flat. Slap another piece of bread on top and ya got ya self a hotdog sammich.

You can toast sandwich bread a lot more easily than hotdog buns anyway, and buns have too much bread to them compared to the meat.

I am highly offended by how the hotdog is laying. It goes from one bottom corner to the opposite top corner. Not in the middle. lol

Wait, there are people who never did this? Geez. When I was a kid, I sometimes got a folded "sandwich" of raisins and a liiiiittle bit of butter for lunch. The hot dog was the "good" option.

That bread was always too sweet, so I put cinnamon and sugar on it.

That's how I always eat them, sausage in bread with some sauce is just the Australian way and it's great in my opinion

Change the hotdog for a sausage and you've got an Aussie sausage sizzle (and of course add the tomato sauce!) !!

Guys, I think FS could write a cookbook! A hotdog cookbook, at least.

We do this all the time in Australia. But the sausage (we rarely eat hot dogs) must lie diagonally. Add a little tomato sauce and onions and you have the lunch of the champions!
