Um.... many religions practice or practiced theophagy (god eating) including Christian religions which consume the "body" and "blood" of Christ, part of a trinity of God to them. Also in many faiths and theologies all entities are seen as one, making eating anything, including plants, akin to eating a god.
Just make sure to wear the appropriate ceremonial bib and use The sanctified butter, otherwise you might end up an "evetday we stray further from god" meme.
