Hulk here is most likely a mix between a pitbull and some sort of mastiff, judging by the shape of the head.
Yea. He's an American Bully, not a Pit Bull. They're crosses between American Pit Bulls, American Staffs, Neapolitan Mastiffs (which gives them the blue color) and I think bullmastiffs. But no one knows for sure.
Its not all about the breed what a crock of shit. Obviously the dogs treatment is the most important thing, but some breeds are always gonna be more likely to lash out and more dangerous once they do because of what they were historically bred for. The whole "oh but I had a pit bull when I was young and they never bit me" story doesn't count for Shit when you consider that the website "dogbite" says that pits account for over 50% of dog attacks. Its also a pretty dangerous idea to spread.
Pitbulls are more likely to attack because 80% of people who bought pitbulls wanted to have an aggressive dog breed because it's "cool" and "gangsta" and "fits their lifestyle". And it's exactly those people who don't know how to raise and train a dog.

If you're training guard dogs their ears need to be clipped like that so that an intruder doesn't grab an ear to pull them around or, even worse, rip it off. Cropped ears give the intruder less of a hold on the animal and give the dog an advantage.

You have to do that when they're very young, so they dont feel as much pain, so I guess he missed his date.
Lockjaw? Is that you? In all seriousness, Pit Bulls account for over 70% of attacks on humans and are about 7% of the dog population. Even the nicest Pit Bull can kill if something sets it off; something you can't train for. The biggest issue is how the attack goes down... Pit Bulls don't let up and they hold on, escalating the attack.
