With the NHS it's free. Fidget spinners don't need to be stuck up people's asses anymore. And procedures like removing something out of a person's ass is not as expensive as the healthcare system in America want you to believe.
People who think the moral of Breaking Bad was "Walter White needed more money" don't understand Breaking Bad. He had friends, family, and even complete strangers willing to pay for his treatment. The moral is about pride. Walter wanted to provide for his family, but he wanted it on his own terms.
In terms of personality, and of seasons after the first, you're god damn right.
But he was a grown man who's committed ( to our knowledge) no crimes and was a respectable member of society until he was backed into a corner. Had that corner not existed, he wouldn't have had the mental break of "bad", and none of the events that transpired would have occurred.
As an Australian cancer survivor, and daughter of a school teacher, Breaking Bad would never have happened here, at least not for needing to cover health care. Mastectomy, 18weeks of chemo and 8 weeks of radiation therapy. Not a single penny paid out (except in 20+ working years of taxes, I have no problem with that), and received reimbursement for traveling expenses to get to treatment.

Same here in the UK and hospital transport is also offered if it's needed.
BUT, we still need to pay our teachers better.
