@chakun, I live in Portugal. You're talking out of your ass. We have awesome internet (much better than the UK, France, Germany, Spain or Italy) for a fraction of the price.
It was in India sometime back.. people kicked it out..
It came back disguised as "Free internet" people kicked that out too..

Yup. I commented on an another post about how a company was trying to do Shit and the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) passed a bill and kicked it out. The inventor of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners Lee also supported it
Edit: Man I wrote so shitty. I guess that's what happens when you don't think much and just go on blabbing

And mr Zuckerberg tried to sell it as "free facebook for rural people" , get your shit together mark, they need food and healthcare, they don't need to be tagged in memes
Many live in poverty; many people cannot afford save housing/ healthy food /healthcare due to low wages; Civil Unrest; corruption on all levels of government; Public education is bad and higher education costs a lot of money; all that while elites live in decadent luxury and wealth. Things are not like that everywhere... I hope the American Nightmare is not contagious, but I fear that it is
Which is due to the fact that they come from even shittier places.

Basically, net neutrality = every one gets the same thing. Plain and simple.
But some assholes in the U.S wants to fuck shit up by controling what you can see on the net, your connection speed, the things you can do etc. Plus they want to make little packages that you'd have to subscribe to if you want to use some website. For example you wanna use facebook, well, it will be in a package with other websites, and you'd have to pay for it even if you just use one of them.
Plus censorship etc..
The bit that pisses me off, is you know this big corporations aren't gonna use the money to better the company, pay higher wages for lower employees or produce better content, it will literally go to getting the bosses a bigger yearly bonus

Fortunately, a lot of big companies doesn't agree with what they want to do. Like Netflix etc, so hopefully it will weight in the balance for you guys
If you want to understand the issue better, look for 'last week tonight net neutrality'. They did a piece on it a while back when it was threatened. They didn't make one this year tho :/
But “THANK you” was your first contribution to the discussion. How could you know you would be downvoted for a comment thanking the yutes for the diwnvotes? Illuminati shit right there. I’m going to go see how Trevor Noah thinks I should react to this.
@pokethebear I watch a comedy show for fun, but i'm able to respect the fact that they did a pretty good job of vulgarisation on that problem, which is good for people to understand the problem.
Not to mention from what I remember they did a good job at raising an action that actually worked.
Finally, I'm not from the US, so I feel like I can't do much to prevent that, but I also know that it could spread to other countries, so I feel like people who are directly impacted and can fight back should be informed !
I'm sure the US is a shithole that is quite literally unlivable no matter where you go. California and Washington DC are gonna get nuked, Detroit's, in the drain, Florida's raring to go back into the sea, yeah, the whole place is an uninhabitable wasteland.
It came back disguised as "Free internet" people kicked that out too..

Hope they have the balls to do the same in USA
