If it truely is iron deficiency, instead of taking iron tablets, try putting kale through a smoothy with orange juice. Add kiwi or banana to make it sweet.

I could happily sleep 12 hours a day and I always feel tired. If I have less than 10 hours then I feel really grouchy. If I have less than 8 hours I'm a total mess. Did I just self diagnose on funsubstance? Who cares, I have hypersomnia!!!!!
