First, it's climate change not global warming.
Second, it's not uncommon for it to snow in a desert. It gets pretty damn cold at night; when there is precipitation, it likely will be snow. Itll melt within a few hours of being daylight.
The reason its uncommon to snow in deserts is not the temperature, as it can easily get below freezing especially at night, its the precipitation. Just as rain is uncommon in deserts, so is snow. Usually it is just very cold during winter and especially so at night, but there's never usually enough moisture to actually snow.
Global warming is not that straight forward. Yes on average the planet gets warmer, but it also causes rapid pressure changes and other such factors to produce extreme/unseasonable weather around the globe
ok so this is a very little known fact and not many people believe it but I assure you that it is true, (I learned all about global warming/climate change in school) climate change is natural, humans do not cause climate change, we are simply speeding up the process, but climate change is normal, we should be trying to slow it down a bit though (in my opinion) cause we sped it up a bunch
