Living proof that you can be famous and have a private life
Lots of fan defend their idols by saying the fame blind the celebrities but it's not true
Ofc the spotlight and attention will make having a private life much more difficult but no one can force you to write songs about your exes or post dramatic tweets and fb posts
If they throw their privacy way for the fame, they have it coming
I didn't realise until the other day that he started off in theatre doing musicals, husband was like "Of course he can sing, he was on Broadway" I had no clue!
Schrodinger's scandal. As long as you don't open the box everyone is both a slime ball and a saint. These days it seems we are finding quite a few hidden surprises with celebrities though, so I may not jump quickly to any conclusions. I suppose if someone made this meme about Bill Cosby, or many others they'd feel pretty secure at the time, viewed later with the box open though the answers become more clear- although perhaps never conclusive either way. Regardless, Mr. Jackman seems like a nice fellow.
It's hard to explain but this is the original article which caused the problem https://babe.net/2018/01/13/aziz-ansari-28355
The woman describes how he was rough with her and when she moved away he kept following her and wanting sex. Some people have fought back against her saying it wasn't that bad because she didn't say 'no' and her accusations could ruin his career. Then people have fought back against that by saying that he was still wrong because he wasn't respectful and she was giving signals that she didn't want it. Reading the article it does sound like he was really rapey :/ which is weird because he's always been into women's rights
I deleted my previous comment as between writing and posting @moon posted a more succinct and helpful reply on the subject. In a nut shell yes. He's accused of being persistently sexually aggressive and disrespecting her wishes, on his part he hasn't really denied it and says she texted him her feelings after it happened and he was shocked and regretful, and texted back an apology.
Hugh Jackman is the most Australian Australian bloke you'll find (not to say there's not asswhipes here, but he seems to be the embodiment of the best of us)
