You can know you're a nice person and still be nice because it's the right thing to do. The two rules of life: keep your hands to yourself and be nice to people.
Don't. Nice is overrated. Nice just keeps the wheels of whatever machine you're in running smoothly. Aspire to be a good person. You'll keep good societies running smoothly and jar the fuck out of trouble spots.
