In India naming customs vary greatly in different areas and are adhered to more strictly by some. But in general "Patel" is a very common name like "Smith" or "Lee." Similarly Vijay or feminine Vijaya are based the same and may be closer to "Micheal."
Thank you spookykink57. It's a little of both. Where I live I've had the opportunity to work and be friends with many Indian people since I was very young. That's helped me pick up a lot, but I always try to know as much as I can about the history and cultures of the world and around me so I also study things.
As a tobacco retailer in the states any tobacco product and that includes rolling papers (like the picture) and tubes, even packing machines are all restricted items, meaning you have to be the proper age and have a valid form of Id to buy them, the fines for a retailer (and the clerk that sells illegally) can be upwards of $10,000. I've been threatened many times for not selling a kid tobacco I even had one kids father come into the store and threaten to kill me because I told his kid no.

This is not just the only case where it has happened that, a guy was killed or brutally injured just for upholding the law. And it's really saddening.
People need to control their actions and should take rational decisions even when they are under the influence of rage.
