You don't need a letter for everything new that people made up for a fad.

But, if it literally has no impact on your life, then why does it matter? If it helps someone to identify themselves and be included, why is that bad? Especially with the higher rates of suicide among lgbt+ teens and young adults, anything that helps people feel less isolated sounds good to me.

Because adding unnecessary things to lgbt makes the whole thing look like a joke.

That's why the + is there, so we're not adding a bunch of new letters making it infinitely long. It's like the tenth right in the bill of rights, it covers anything not left
