Depends on why you get pulled I guess, I would think the autonomous cars are programmed to follow traffic laws unless there is a dire circumstance.

Without a steering wheel seems like it would be illegal as the driver would be unable to assume direct control if necessary and legally the driver has to be in control of their vehicle at all times.
I just want to throw this out there. The technology to automate trains has existed for a long time. One of the main reasons they haven’t really done it is because there is too much that can obstruct the tracks and a machine wouldn’t be aware of. So a vehicle which travels on rails- it goes forwards and backwards and the switches on tracks are done remotely- train operation has been deemed to complicated to be automated.
