I never had anything there too

I think I went to ToysRUs once, to get a present for a friends birthday party

I’ve never stepped foot inside of a Toys R Us, my parents didn’t want me getting any ideas.

I think I went once or twice, I just never wanted anything out of there because all I wanted was action figures and their action figures were shit. I argue that KB Toys was better.

Last year I took my niece to the store so she could pick something for her birthday and honestly that was great feeling. My sisters and I were never allowed to do so when we were kids since money was tight and eventhough my sister now makes enough for a proper living she does teach her kids to be humble. Seeing my niece not picking the most expensive thing she could get but something which she really liked and could spend hours playing with really made me a proud aunt.

My mum was a single mum and she use to take us there to entertain me and my little sister. We would go like once a month and we would spend like 2 hours just walking around and playing with toys that they had out. We never were once bothered for loitering and my mum when she could afford it would shop there. It gave her a much needed break. Some of my best memories were at that store and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been there twice, once as a kid (bought a lego set) and once as an adult with my son (bought him a John deere playset because of course he likes tractors and having three real ones isn't enough)

I got my kids LEGO sets from there whenever I could. They like going but the one in our town is like a goodwill equivalent. It smells weird and the whole store is gross. Not great memories. They’ve had free run at Meijer to pick a new toy out though and love doing that.

If it wasn't at Walmart we weren't getting it
