I was in school when it was a carton but in 5th grade they started the bags lmao I remember they made us watch a puppet movie on how to use the bags and how it was better for the planet.
Well at least they tried to teach you how to use it. In my school we had cartons on day and then bags the next no warning, no instructions, nothing. There was alot of milk spilt.
Maybe you were absent the day they showed the video because we watched the video about a month before we got the new milk.
Also the reason they stopped using these was all thanks to kids airing them up and piping them or poking all the way through lol
I would accept that except, everyone I ate lunch with was confused. I don't remember when they got rid of them I just know I went from having them in 5th grade to not having them in 6th.
We didn't get school lunches at all. Only the super poor kids were on a free-sandwich program, that the rest of the kids' moms/dads took turns making and donating to the school, the rest of the kids had to sort themselves buying (mostly junkfood offered) by the sweets-and-snacks lady or had packed lunch.
