No, what I am saying is whenever someone shows a pit being a good dog...as they are...some cockslap comments about how they should be outlawed or something. I love pitbulls and I have 2, but I get pissed when simple minded morons go on about how they are dangerous or programmed to attack or have a locking jaw and other vapid drivel.
But thanks for your knee-jerk reaction.
@strongsad, they are not programmed to attack, they are not overly aggressive but they are absolutely dangerous. They aren’t the only breed that’s is, of course. Rottwielers are more dangerous by far.
You can’t fault people for being nervous around pits. I am. Not because I think it’s more likely to attack me than, say a Cocker Spaniel, but because IF it does it’s going to do severe damage to me the way the Spaniel can’t.
All dogs, no matter how sweet, can be startled and attack out of instinct. Not a big deal with a miniature poodle but a pit bull is basically all muscle and jaw. I do think there is an unfair bias against them but we shouldn’t tell people they are wrong for their personal choice to avoid them.
Avoiding them is fine. I can understand that. Calling for their all out ban, death, higher insurance rates, Delta's new policy...those are what I get upset about.
I am pillow
