Exactly, "Das kalte Wetter wird anhalten" can be understood as it will stop and it will continue

@defau0lt is "das kalte wetter wird anhalten" als satz nicht ein bisschen.. komisch? :P passender wäre doch "das kalte wetter wird aufhören" oder "das kalte wetter wird sich bessern".. oder?^^

Natürlich aber "das kalte Wetter wird anhalten" ist ja trotzdem korrekt und soll nur als Beispiel dienen, die wenigsten bzw. Kaum jemand würde es so sagen
As a native English speaker I tried learning German once and thought it was a bit difficult because I couldn't understand why there was a male, female, and proper versions of words. Then I had to learn Arabic. Went back to German after learning Arabic and suddenly it was soooo much easier. In case you're wondering Arabic as male, female, dual male, dual female, plural male, and plural female in first and third person. That's not even counting the tenses or the verbs.
Mark Twain did a lot to promote German as the most difficult language there is and it's stuck in people's minds.
Even though it is certainly not the easiest language to learn, compared to Hungarian or Icelandic, it's a piece of cake.
