Not really the cruelest thing but once I asked a friend to play some PS4 with me and he said no because of how bad I was and in general being really toxic, an hour goes by and he finally says “bro I’m sorry for being really toxic I was just messing around” then I ask him if he still wants to play, he goes nah bro your still pretty bad. Fml
"You should have thrown yourself under that bus", kindly delivered by my mother when I was 8. She's really impulsive and says a lot of things she doesn't mean when she's angry. (The reason I remember it so well is because at the time I was actually seriously considering this option. Not because her words hurt me or anything. She's actually super nice, except when we're arguing.)
Sorry to hear that man. My mom also acted similarly, and I don't think I've ever heard an apology from her for anything unless it was a sarcastic apology. She's also really nice but you gotta be careful as she flips between moods really fast.

My girlfriend said I was boring once when I didn't feel like going anywhere one weekend.
I've been called all kinds of shit a lot worse that never bothered me but I mulled over that for about a week and I still remember it almost a year later.
Like, that should sound silly because it is but as comfortable as I am with myself as a person I've never once considered myself boring.
I was really sensitive back then
Now I'd just "well yeah, you think they can survive without their Queen for that long?"
