One is in a galaxy far far away, and the other is centuries in the future. They have the freedom to make society whatever the hell they want. It bears no resemblance to today's society here on earth.

It’s always nice to see yourself in movies. Still waiting on some disabled people who aren’t inspiration porn.

Reminder that being a black or female lead in a movie makes it PC.

YAAAS GIVE ME THAT DS9 AND VOYAGER. I remember meeting Sisko (Avery Brooks) at comic con a few years back and we had to leave the panel early, so as me and my friend were leaving he stopped what he was saying and said "Bye girls!" and I was just stunned. So we just replied "bye! We love you!" and he just replied "K".

You're missing out While Voyager was more or less similar to past Treks, DS9 was really interesting. I would recommend you at least checking out a few episodes.

Yeah I mean I'm all for diversity and more inclusion but someyimes people forget some tgings used to be good. As a woman I feel like. Yes it used to be hard to be taken seriously and sometimes still is, but i feel like people forget there was a Lucille Ball, a Murphy Brown, joan rivers....

Do you mean Candice Bergen? Because she's who played Murphy Brown.
