They call me cancer because I just want to do well, but I'm harmful by nature so I slowly grow inside you causing both of us to be tired of the situation, but we're both in too deep to really separate until you decide to finally cut me off killing us both.

I'm like a baby. At first, you're excited to have me. Maybe you're even overjoyed! But after a couple months, things are starting to go wrong. All your time and attention is focused on me. By about a year in, you are regretting this and you want me gone. We have a fight, and I leave. But once you see me again, you're so happy that you forget it all happened. But I'm needy, so needy. I need constant reassurance, attention, love. The second you ignore me, I can feel my heart breaking. It's a terrible relationship for us both, but getting rid of me would be excruciating. We've been friends for too long. It hurts too bad to be together, but it hurts far worse apart.
