Once my kid hit 1 I told she was 1 till she was 1 year and 6 months than for 3 months when asked I said 1 and a half. But after that I said she be 2 in April. I never EVER said o she is 14 months.
I even corrected a friend of mine in it lol I asked how old her son was and she said 16 months. So I said "so 1 he is 1 years old." (-.-) She said "no he is 16 months" I said "NO he is 1 years old and 4 months. Say that if you insist on adding the months." After a few more convincing of the threatening kind she from than on said it right. She never was a smart girl. I tend to stay hidden from her from time to time because she makes my blood boil at how dumb and drama centered she can be.
This shit again? I’ll go ahead and repeat it: before they are two years old months is the appropriate level of precision to answer the question of age.
If you are 25 and have a problem with this then I can only assume when people ask you your age you say I’m two decades to prevent them having to do math.
You should add that the reason that level of precision is appropriate is because of the significant difference between children a month apart in that age range.
The issue is that they only reason to give it in months is for medical/growth progress reasons...aka something most people asking don't give a crap about so unless they ask for the months just give years past being 1
