In America you have the right to be shot for trespassing with suspicion of deadly weapon. Can I come stay with y'all?

We have the same in Finland, you can also pick berries and mushrooms wherever you want, even from somebody's back yard as long as you don't disturb their peace by going too close to the house.

Here (Sweden) too, as long as it isn't some rare or protected plant/mushroom/berry/whatever

Seems like a lovely day to go for a hike through the top secret government facilities

Yes, a top secret government facility, an open forest. A government building isn't part of nature...

It is if you twist the definition right.

I don't think the definition here is entirely accurate to what's stated in the law.

You wouldn't even know it's there, trust me on this.

you might know its there but if you did you'd probably have no idea it was anything other than a corporate owned structure. Might even have corporate looking signs. Or it might just be a nondescript cabin with a sweet old woman living in it. Anything can be a top government facility.

Yeah, ours don't have visable surface structures.

No disturbing crops, no breaking branches off trees. Otherwise Nature is for everyone. It's a lovely thing, I'll be in the forest tomorrow.

But I need the branches for my fire of which I will be using to cook and not die of coldness

You must choose from among the ground-localized branches. Choose wisely.

Can't make a fire with only kindling if you wanna do anything with the fire except feed it

There are plenty of branches on the ground. I've never had a problem except when it's very wet in the woods.

You can also collect dry, already broken branches hanging from trees.

But not fresh branches. Fresh branches are the tree's fingers.

They must be broken
freudiandip

What would you say if a tree came up to you and started breaking your fingers?
geluregis

"Ow, my fingers! Fuck!"
