When we went to Disneyland we drove it was a 4 hour trip. So incase our phone died or we lost internet we printed out the directions. And thank God we did. When we went through the mountains we had a 30min. strech were we had no internet. And the map was no longer working. Worse was we were coming up to major turns that could either send us in the right direction or the exact opposite.
So yeah if going long trips print that shit out lol.
I still do this shit on purpose with a place I've never been. It's so much easier than a phone and if you get pulled over for distracted driving, much easier to justify.
And yeah, the original is physical maps. I actually liked just sitting there studying and tracking routes, really gave a sense of scale.
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN SLIGHT RIGHT?!?!”
“I DONT KNOW- that’s what it says!”
“WE’RE HERE! DO I GO THAT WAY OR THIS WAY?!”
“I DON’T KNOW...!”
3 seconds later.
“shit. It was the other one. How do we get there now?”
@ physical maps
