Not exactly. Night time is when a planet receives little or no light from the star(s) it orbits. If there were no stars.... there’d be no day- bit tjere would be no night. “Ok smart ass. I meant darkness. Darkness is the natural state of the universe.” Oh. Should have said so, and please- language. In that case- still no. You see, visible and non visible light are in fact almost everywhere and come from many more places than stars. The universe is teeming with background radiation, and if life has evolved in a universe without stars, it would likely see some other spectrum of light, in fact without an ability to process the human visual spectrum- those beings may see day time as the default, and a phase where some cosmic event or body blocked some or most background radiation as “night” and an oddity. More so, the “natural” state of the universe near as we can tell is to contain stars and such bodies, so a universe without stars would’ve unatural from our perspective and thus...
.... darkness as a default state would be unatural! It’s all relative I suppose. But the natural state of the universe as best our perspective can show is more like a hazy blend of the two states if we want to use those terms. There is so much natural light that space isn’t really “nighttime” as much as it is sorta dark, but if it were totally dark there would be no way for optical instruments to work at great distances. So there is some backgeound light in space provided by innumerable stars and other sources .
Thats a hard question. Is it getting better, or has it gotten worse but I’ve become numb to it and so it just seems that way...? I’m sure things will die down eventually. Bonus points if I’m still employed when they do! How’s life by you?
Is it getting better or does it just suck slightly less than it did when you were gone?

Still, I think I get what you mean. :/ that's.. Well, maybe not the WORST, but it's up there. Toxicity in the work place is one of the most God awful draining experiences there is. :/ I really hope it improves for you soon. Iirc this isn't the first time.

Not too bad. I've had to pick up the torch of leaving exceedingly long comments while you've been away, (dropping the ball tsk tsk). Don't think I succeeded overall, but I did give poor Aviva something like a 5-post long one so that should help make up for it
