I didn’t know amazon sold class III weapons. You have to be licensed to be able to do that.

I don’t know if third party sellers could sell them there. You’d think there would be legal issues.

Well he ordered a TV, maybe the seller does electronics and guns (through a different website) and reversed the shipping labels of two orders made around the same time. I’ve had that happen to me, not with guns, but I got a totally wrong product.

The weapon was illegal in DC where he lived. He was smart to notify the cops.
